139	JESUS RETURNS to GALILEE
Matt 15		Mark 7		Luke
29	And Jesus went* on	31	Then he returned
	from there		from the region of Tyre,
	and passed		and went* through Sidon
	along the Sea of Galilee.		to the Sea of Galilee,
			through the region of the Decapolis.
	And he went up on the mountain,
	and sat down there.
30	And great crowds came to him,	32	And
	bringing with them		they brought to him
	the lame, the maimed,
	the blind, the dumb,
	and many others,
	and they put them at his feet,
	and he healed them,
			a man who was deaf
			and had an impediment
			in his speech;
			and they besought him
			to lay his hand upon him.
		33	And taking him aside
			from the multitude privately,
			he put his fingers into his ears,
			and he spat
			and touched his tongue;
		34	and looking up to heaven,
			he sighed,
			and said to him,
			"Ephphatha,"
			that is, "Be opened."
		35	And his ears were opened,
			his tongue was released,
			and he spoke plainly.
		36	And he charged them
			to tell no one;
			but the more he charged them,
			the more zealously
			they proclaimed it.
31	so that the throng wondered,	37	And they were astonished
	when they saw		beyond measure,
			saying,
			"He has done all things well;
			he even makes the deaf hear
	the dumb speaking,		and the dumb speak."
	the maimed whole,
	the lame walking,
	and the blind seeing;
	and they glorified the God of Israel.
