Testament of Levi

The earliest in a string of wisdom books ascribed to the sons of Jacob that came to be referred to collectively as the Testaments of the Twelve Patriarchs. Fragments of the original Aramaic text of this work [composed prior to 100 BCE] and the Testament of Naphtali were found at Qumran. But the complete corpus of the Testaments has been preserved only in Greek & Armenian translations.
