 JESUS ENCOUNTERS a WOMAN of TYRE

Matt 15 Mark 7 Luke
21 And Jesus  24  And from there he arose
  went away from there   and went away
  and withdrew
  to the district of Tyre and Sidon.   to the region of Tyre and Sidon.
      And he entered a house,
      and would not have any one know it;
      to Bethsaida,
      yet he could not be hid.
22 And behold, 25 But immediately
  a Canaanite woman   a woman,
  from that region
  came out
  and cried,
  "Have mercy on me,
  O Lord, Son of David;
  my daughter is severely possessed   whose little daughter was possessed
  by a demon."   by an unclean spirit,
      heard of him,
23 But he did not answer her a word.
  And his disciples came
  and begged him,
  saying,
  "Send her away,
  for she is crying after us."
24 He answered,
  "I was sent only to the lost sheep
  of the house of Israel."
25 But she came   and came
  and knelt before him,   and fell down at his feet.
    26 Now the woman was a Greek,
      a Syrophoenician by birth.
  saying, "Lord, help me."   And she begged him
      to cast the demon
      out of her daughter.
26 And he answered, 27 And he said to her,
      "Let the children first be fed,
  "It is not fair   for it is not right
  to take the children's bread   to take the children's bread
  and throw it to the dogs."   and throw it to the dogs."
27 She said, 28 But she answered him,
  "Yes, Lord;   "Yes, Lord;
  yet even the dogs   yet even the dogs
      under the table*
  eat the crumbs   eat the children's crumbs."
  that fall
  from their masters' table."*
28 Then Jesus answered her, 29 And he said to her,
  "O woman,
  great is your faith!
      "For this saying
      you may go your way;
  Be it done for you as you desire."   the demon has left your daughter."
  And 30 And she went home,
  her daughter   and found the child
      lying in bed,
  was healed instantly.   and the demon gone.
