328 PETER'S DENIAL PREDICTED
Matt 26 Mark 14 Luke 22
33 Peter declared to him, 29 Peter said to him, 33 And he said to him,
  "Though they all fall away   "Even though they all fall away,   "Lord, I am ready to go
  because of you,       with you to prison and to death."
  I will never fall away."     I will not."    
34 Jesus said to him, 30 And Jesus <says> to him, 34 He said,
  "Truly, I say to you,   "Truly, I say to you,   "I tell you, Peter,
  this* very night,   this* very night,    
  before the cock crows,   before the cock crows twice,   the cock will not crow this* day,
  you will deny me three times."*   you will deny me three times."*   until you three times deny*
          that you know me."*
35 Peter <says> to him, 31 But he said vehemently,    
  "Even if I must die with you,   "If I must die with you,    
  I will not deny you."   I will not deny you."
