    JESUS STILLS the STORM

    35 On that day, 22 One day
      when evening had come,    
23 And when he got       he got
  into the boat,*       into a boat*
  his disciples followed him.       with his disciples,
      he said to them,   and he said to them,
      "Let us go across   "Let us go across

    36 And leaving the crowd,   So
      they took him with them   they set out,

          he fell asleep.

  on the sea,       on the lake,

      and said to the sea,*   and the raging waves;
      "Peace! Be still!"    
      And the wind ceased,   and they ceased,

  "Why are you afraid,*   "Why are you afraid?*    
  O men of little faith?"   Have you no faith?"   "Where is your faith?"
          And they were afraid,*

  and rebuked the winds*        
  and the sea;*        
  and there was a great calm.*        
27 And the men marveled, 41 And they were filled   and they marveled,
      with awe,    
  saying,   and said to one another,   saying to one another,
  "What sort of man is this,   "Who then is this,   "Who then is this,
  that   that   that he commands
  even winds and sea   even wind and sea   even wind and water,
  obey him?"   obey him?"   and they obey him?"
